It sounds like you only received a COLA increase if you got it every year. What ICA is looking for is advancement and sizeable increment of say 20% or more to go with the newer higher position. COLA increase won't do anything other that show you are an everyday working stiff and not an achiever. They have all of those they need that are SGCs. FT are supposed to have talent and not just be salarymen. I think making a Plan B is a good idea as it doesn't look too promising, truth be told.

50-50 chances even then because one of your kids is in
International School. That also makes it a negative factor.

After she completes the diploma chances will slightly improve.
But my guess would be your ages are in the 40s? This may make it tougher

Ok thank you
Please don't post willy-nilly all over the board. Post in the thread where you started your conversation and keep the topic over there. Otherwise, all here will get tired chasing all over the board trying to find out what's be said, repeated, regurgitated, etc. Other, it will come to a point that your posts will just be ignored.

And you are trying to get PR? I'm thinking I know why you have been rejected so many times.
Look at the right side of your post. See where is says "posts: 12" the blue means a hyperlink just like any webpage anywhere. click on that "12" or whatever number is there when you read this and it will list all your posts in chronological order with links to go to that posts.

Hi all,
I have been patronising this forum for over a year now and it has been helpful a lot in my PR application, what to expect and more importantly, managing my waiting anxiety.
I am not asking the usual evaluate my profile since all the infos in this form gave me an idea on that. I am just posting for the benefit of the future readers.
Profile:
Indian|33yrs|Single
Length of stay: ~8yrs
Occupation: Manager (America equipment industry) in a large MNC that has strategic partnership with EDB
Salary: 105K + ~30K bonus
PR journey:
1st application - Dec 2020 - rejected after exactly 4months
2nd application - Jan 2023 - awaiting result
Difference in profile from 1st application - pursuing MBA in local uni + 45% increase pay
I’ll keep you posted when the results are out. Not sure if it’s relevant, but based on some posts in this forum, we can expect result (approve or reject) few weeks after the “upload document button” disappeared. Mine disappeared last week. Let’s validate this claim too from my result.
And once again, a big thanks to everyone posting on this forum.
