Choosing a school

Post by lagoatparty » Sat, 21 Jan 2023 1:01 pm

Hiya,

We are relocating from Perth to Singapore with 4 primary aged children.

Choosing the right school is the biggest priority and there are so many!

We will only be abroad for 1-2 years and so I had specifically wanted an Australian curriculum- for ease of transition back to school in Australia.

We did the AIS school tour last year and don't really know what to think. Impressive, but it felt like a university campus.

Can anyone vouch for the school being great?

And does anyone send their Aussie kids to other International Schools with great success?

Thanks alot!

If you are exclusively choosing from schools that offer the Australian curriculum, AIS would be the best option. There are five schools in Singapore that offer the aussie curriculum, of those I specifically discourage you from going with Saint Francis Methodist school. Campus is tiny, facilities are poor, and the students are not very well behaved at all.
