Honestly, I don't see many red flags. Married with kids, ethnic quota ok, salary is not a liability, plus PR for 14 years. Should have a pretty good shot.Sca2023 wrote: ↑Thu, 19 Jan 2023 12:58 pmHi All

Not sure the ethnic quota can be characterized as ok… perhaps better described as a challenge.Lisafuller wrote: ↑Sat, 21 Jan 2023 1:14 amHonestly, I don't see many red flags. I am not an expert on this lol, but that fact that his daughters are in local school and his wife got PR recently, I think they have pretty good chance.
I meant that it's OK relative to being in the others category.malcontent wrote: ↑Sat, 21 Jan 2023 9:18 amNot sure the ethnic quota can be characterized as ok… perhaps better described as a challenge.Lisafuller wrote: ↑Sat, 21 Jan 2023 1:14 amHonestly, I don't see many red flags. I don't think they will go so far as to consider the children's grades, that seems very unfair and irrelevant when considering the families potential to contribute since performance at such a young age is meaningless and indicates nothing.malcontent wrote: ↑Sat, 21 Jan 2023 9:07 amCouple of add’l points they might consider….Sca2023 wrote: ↑Thu, 19 Jan 2023 12:58 pmHi All

How is your involvement in the community?
How are your daughters’ grades?
How is your wife’s education?
They asked my SIL for her kids’ grades when they all applied for SC last year… but to your point, all are all at least in secondary school. I do not know if they ask at the primary level.Lisafuller wrote: ↑Sun, 22 Jan 2023 2:11 amI don't think they will go so far as to consider the children's grades, that seems very unfair and irrelevant when considering the families potential to contribute since performance at such a young age is meaningless and indicates nothing.malcontent wrote: ↑Sat, 21 Jan 2023 9:07 amCouple of add’l points they might consider….Sca2023 wrote: ↑Thu, 19 Jan 2023 12:58 pmHi All

That's true, he never mentioned the ages of the children. I just assumed they had to be pretty young since OP is pretty young.malcontent wrote: ↑Sun, 22 Jan 2023 5:21 pmThey asked my SIL for her kids’ grades when they all applied for SC last year… but to your point, all are all at least in secondary school. Quite honestly, I don't think this matters much on its own, what would carry more weight would be her job and industry.sundaymorningstaple wrote: ↑Sun, 22 Jan 2023 4:16 pmWife's education already stated. Hold Masters from an Indian Uni same as OP.
