Congratulations & Thank you. It's nice to get props from our readers who have made proper usage of our large archives to help them on their journey. Now it's time to think about the future and the next goal. Again, Congrats and welcome to the board.

Hi all would like your help to assess my profile:

Nationality: Burmese
Pay: low 3k range
Age: 29
In Sg for 14-15 years
Education; sg pri/sec school followed by polytechnic
Worked for 4-5 years.

This would be my first time applying for PR. Previously tried to go for NS but was not allowed as a foreigner,
My sc gf and I also considered to rom but i would like to try applying for pr once first before rom-ing.

What do all of you think my chances would be? :/

So low due to ethnic quota and salary. You’re better off marrying your SC gf and ask her to sponsor your PR after 2 years of marriage. Save the $100 application fee and spend it on your wedding.

I am working in Finance industry since 2009 (around 14 years) in Singapore on Employment pass with my wife and six year old son.
I have applied PR in August 2022 and it is still pending. In last 14 years I have applied multiple time like 7-8 times but result always comes in 6-7 month as rejection.
Age: 35 years
Race: Indian
Salary: around 110K annually
Wife: working salary is around 40k yearly
Wife Age: 32 years, staying in Singapore since 2015 ( 8 years), staying on dependent pass.
Son: six year old going in K2 kindergarten, he born in Singapore and staying here on dependent pass.
I am chartered accountant from India and Singapore as well. My wife also holding bachelor degree in commence.
Just would like to know what is the chances of getting PR.
Age and length of stay in your favor .
Nationality / race not so much .

Good thing is that you can keep trying for 5-6 years . Best of luck
I have similar profile(12 years in SG) and after waiting for 21 months PR got rejected.I think these days default is rejecting for Indian race.

Not really. Rejection is not default for indian race. However, i do accept the percentage of approval is usually on the decrease. The longer waiting time of 21 months is usually an indication of higher number of indian applicants and less quota per year, thereby, requiring more time to filter and process the applicants. If you have seen my previous posts, 10yrs of stay seems to be the usual length of stay for most indian applicants. Also, most of them have a family like you. So really need to distinguish yourself from others based on the skills, field of expertise and so on.
