All views on your chances can be gleaned from previous posts.

I think it might get more competitive for you this year because tech will continue to shed jobs, and hence ICA may get way more applicants than usual.

After all, PR is seen as a safety net of sorts.

and actively contributed in volunteering programs from Red Cross and Giving.sg - not longer contribute a single point

This has been heavily abused

Yup, ICA has long stopped caring about volunteer work like this, now can be seen as a disingenuous effort.

Agree, in fact, most industries with remote positions are starting to winnow down their international presence, so most employees who want to stay will end up applying this year, making it even more competitive than ever before.

Unless you, your parents & siblings and your grandparents are all clones as is their histories somebody else profile will not do you a single solitary bit of good except make you feel worse if you don't get the same result. If you have been reading some of the current threads, you will not in some cases they are checking back 3 generations at family histories. Don't give yourself anxiety attacks. Apply and leave it and continue working. If it is going to come it will, it not it won't. All the fretting will not help at all and in fact could also even give you health issues. His profile isn't of benefit to anybody else except him.

Won't it help to collect data points for moderators to reply on PR chances queries?

No, unless you can present a requirement request from ICA that has never come up in the previous 18 years. Like the recent question on PR and home ownership going back three generations, or the recent requiring of a child's school records, e.g., something that hasn't been published here literally '000's of times. Of course everybody thinks his application is special but the reality of it is the vast majority are virtually the same and only the creme de la creme of your own ethnic cohort are going to get to grab the brass ring, when competing with their own countrymen (the rest don't matter as you are not part of that demographic). So when applications for a specific demographic are heavily oversubscribed. Others & Indian are the worst due to the miniscule percentage of the population demographic to start with which the government artificially controls by using immigration in order to maintain it at the current percentage levels. Good try though, I'll give you that.

I'm not sure about this, you should probably reach out to the ICA directly.
