just to share my experience on marrying indo spouse. I am a PR and got married on mid of 2019, applied LTVP for her on Oct and got approval within 5 working days without PMLA.
On Jan 2021 applied PR for her and get approved on July 2022. as long as you are working and young should be able to get LTVP unless u have bad record (like crime)

But what was your salary, race, age, how long you knew each other before you married? Many factors are involved with PMLA & LTVP, not just nationality.

OP said her bf is in his 30s so I assume she is also around the same age or maybe older since she mentioned they are “no longer young”.

Lol thanks. Sometimes when you reply to many topics, all the info gets blurred together or lost.

Probably OP can try the PMLA & LTVP before the age of 35 before ICA deems her to be past child-bearing age.

We're not kids any more and we want to settle down. Please don't judge us just because we're "moving fast" and is "red flag" as per your opinion. I don't need you to tell me what to do in a relationship, that's not what this forum is for.

All I need is advice to help us get his LTVP smoothly as I'm not experienced with having a foreign partner, and I'm not good with all these complicated procedures to get him to settle down with me in Singapore.
what you want is to be spoon fed a guaranteed solution to the problem you face.

you guys want to move out of your family home to be together and start a new life together. i get it.

if you rush into this now and he remains jobless, you’ll only have a few hundred bucks spare change each month, and that’s on a very austere lifestyle for you both.

you’re “not kids” so you ought to know better. the people here are on your side. but they are also realistic and when combined have tons more i sight than you and i do.

life in singapore is more “highway” than your way. good luck. i hope it works out. live long. prosper.

k bye.
