Sorry guys, really didn't think you would reply this fast. Please read my post again. There is read post, really legit. The telecom problem was settled but they did said they refer the case to ica. It's been over 11 years and the bill was only 300+ when the data usage was not like now. And I overuse that. I was young and did not better. And now, it came to bite me in the back. I was really looking forward to my job I gotten. And I don't have working experience and I started school later than everyone. And my resume is shit. Could that also be the reason, I got rejected

It's not the telco issue. It's not the school stuff. It's the usual EP approval issue. Keep trying.

No, you don't need a lawyer. You have charges with the NP as noted telecoms bill is a non-issue as it is not government. You may have been unlucky enough to apply for a WP level position with a company who doesn't have any quota left for foreign WP workers. the quota rises and falls with the number of local employees being employed by the employer. Just need to keep trying with new companies. It may have not been anything of your doing that caused the rejection, but might have been the company had no quota or was over quota (happens some times).
I would be interested to know why you don't have either PR or SGC if one parent is SGC and another is PR as you have alluded to (your English sentence structure might be throwing us off) with regard to that statement.

I have a stepfather who is a SGC and my mom is a thai who got her PR when she married him in the 90s. We tried to apply PR for me many times but ICA alway rejected the applications.
I have tried to email MOM to ask whether they could reveal the information as to why I was rejected but they told me to contract my employer instead so I am still waiting for my employer's email. I am very sad becoz the workplace is my favourite place to go in sg with my friends and I really was looking forward to working there. And with little working experience, not alot of company would hire me.

They were married since the late 90s. My father tried to legally adopt me but we didn't manage to get it done, thai govt took very long and we didn't have relatives in Thailand to do a follow-up. And I came to sg only in 2004 and now I'm almost 27. I did read from somewhere it might be becoz we came from a low income family and that my parent couldnt contribute to the income tax or something along that, that's why my PR applications were always rejected.

What should I do now? I emailed MOM but they asked me to email my employer which I did. But I don't have much hope on that. I'm afraid that if I keep applying for jobs, my work permit will be rejected again. Please advise. Thank you so much everyone.
