Tried searching for one online but not too sure which is good as I read all sorts of mixed reviews on all the power banks. Which brands or models would you recommend, with a fast charging option and safe usage.

I think the Huawei or Xiaomi ones seem to work fine/well.

The xiaomi powerbank is great - holds a charge and is fairly inexpensive. If you use an iPhone and want a more portable option, they also have magnetic power banks that stick to the back of your phone. The only catch is you need to have a model which supports MagSafe.

Probably about the same (?). I've used a Xiaomi for a while but heard the Huawei ones were just as good/better (hard to say if truly better because all of the newer ones may be better).

I've been using my Xiaomi power bank for a little over a year now, had to get one because my old phone was getting really bad at holding a charge. Lucky for me I recently upgraded to the 14 pro max so I don't use it as often.
