Low chance as only 3 years in SG. Try after 5 years of working in SG.
Kids? where are they studying?

Hey SingaporeFlyer, thanks for the reply. I have 2 daughters 6 yrs and 1 yr..6 yr old studying in SG and 1 yr old was born here... I know that 3 years is not adequate but I guess it is part of the process of getting rejected once to stand a chance after couple of more years if profile changes...

If you have already made up your mind, why are you asking here ?

So she shd not apply cuz u said so. What surprises me is why do educated Indians even post here. Not like posting here gives any additional help in their applications.

Read it the other way - if you have already made up your mind on what you want to do and want the same decision to be said by others via validation, this forum may not be the right place. Here we try to say things as it is , even though it may not be easy to accept.

Hey Midlet2013, what happened?? You get up on the wrong side of bed or the wife cut you off?
You've been on this board for a long time although you have only recently returned after a long hiatus. The educated just like the peon, likes confirmation of their thoughts. Sadly, and you know this very well, we are not in the habit of blowing smoke up people's arse to make them feel good. We dispense what people need to hear, not what they necessarily want to hear. That's why we have a good reputation here. It's also why I've been invited to dialog sessions several times with the MOM Sr's and an on-line panel discussion on PRs on CNA with ICA. We (at my urging) say it like we see it. The vast majority who know what we do here appreciate it and they also get frustrated at having the answer the same questions over and over because some EDUCATED PEOPLE don't seem to know how to use the search engine, instead, wanting other to do the work for them, and then get in a huff when they don't get the answer that they wanted or expected. The vast majority of 'educated' folks who come here do appreciate what we do and the forthright way we don't blow smoke or give room for misinterpretation, as it were. People don't realize the amount of time we invest in this board at no cost to the owners. We do this as a means of paying it forward. All of my moderators were regular members here before they were moderators. We do this because we enjoy helping those who want to get help or knowledge or the straight skinny about something. And no, we cannot help everybody. We have never claimed we could, but with our collective knowledge and archives, we do a pretty good job, nonetheless.

Actually a rather lighthearted reproach to what was a rather heavy slap in the face of all "educated Indians" on this board. Especially when I had to reply to DMs about your post.

Hi Midlet, Cheer up. We value your contribution to the forum. Please don't take it too personally. I had a lot of direct feedback from SMS and few others when I joined this forum.

This is not the first time the moderator(s) have chosen ill-worded phrases.

^This thread is a prime example. Ironically the moderators choose to lock the thread when they realised I had raised valid concerns.
I kindly urge moderators to help maintain decorum on this informative forum.
Most of the posters are first timers seeking information about pressing matters and quite understandably ask oblivious questions; but that doesnt mean they are dumb or stupid.
Its high time, the moderators on this forum start respecting posters, or at best ignore replying if its not worth their time.

That conversation, to me just looks like you just don't understand English very well. That and /or nuanced conversations just aren't your cup of tea. That can be a dangerous thing when discussions on the internet can get you bent out of shape.
What I find amusing is that you are trying to appeal to the moderators to be "fair" - fair as per your definition. While accusing the moderators of being biased. Do you imagine that you voted for the moderators or you paid for their time here or that they are somehow obliged to behave in a manner that pleases YOU? How do you get that feeling of entitlement?
