Can anyone recommend a really good one that can remove stains and dirt on marble and parquet?

I use Magiclean, works really well. I've tried Mr Muscle as well, but didn't like the smell. Magiclean comes in a really nice lavender scent.

Interesting, Lisa. I use a combination of both I use Mr. Muscle in my woodshop and the Lavender Magiclean in the rest of the house. Yeah, I have light coloured marble throughout except for the bathrooms & kitchen.

Interestingly, I just added a bottle of magic clean lavender in my redmart cart just before reading this post. Guess I made the right choice. Can I just use Magic clean on both wood and marble? I don't think my helper would be so kind to inter-change between the 2...

Good question but I believe the Magiclean should be able to handle both as long as the wood flooring is sealed properly (I can't believe it wouldn't be though). Mr. Muscle has a lot more power but as noted, not very pleasant to the olfactory network though. Having said that neither one will take rust out of Marble flooring. Haven't tried the more drastic measures yet as it would entail the moving of a heck of a lot of woodworking equipment.

Same here! My unit is entirely marble, with the exception of bathroom, kitchen, and laundry room. Have to clean it often or it gets cloudy.

Have to make sure your wood surfaces are not raw and exposed or any liquid will cause it to rot.

Yes, Mr. muscle is a lot more powerful, but it's also one of the reasons I prefer magiclean. It's a lot gentler on the nose and surfaces. Wouldn't recommend harsh cleaning agents on marble.
