Is there a way to deposit cash (USD or SGD) into a US Bank of America account without having to do a TT or wire and pay fees?
Thanks for any advice!

If you have a local bank account then use WISE. Still got fees but very low.

Can you get a cheque? Alternatively pay someone with a BoA account to do it.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

I just tried WISE and for a $5000 transfer the total fee was $21 compared to Google's "ideal" rate. That's amazing.sundaymorningstaple wrote: ↑Mon, 31 Oct 2022 2:59 pmIf you have a local bank account then use WISE. Still got fees but very low.
Thanks for the info!
Re: Deposit USD into Bank of America account?
I use wise routinely. I invoice a UK company for work with their "borderless" USD account for example. I receive my Australian property rent via Wise in a borderless AUD Wise account. I pay people money all over the world with it's low cost transfers. My only issue with Wise is that it isn't easy to quicky send money to a person who is bankless (no account) like it is with Western Union.18000rpm wrote: ↑Tue, 01 Nov 2022 9:29 amI just tried WISE and for a $5000 transfer the total fee was $21 compared to Google's "ideal" rate.
