I now work out five times a week in the morning before work, it's improve my mood greatly, but doesn't do very much in tiring me out surprisingly.
I guess it's because when you exercise in the morning, by the evening your body already forgets about it - as it had time to rest during the day. Maybe you can try evening workouts instead?

@truthhurts1, it's very sad to read your posts. Did you consider going for counseling?
Perhaps, but I don't really have the luxury of time to do evening workouts. After work, I usually have to head home to prepare dinner.
I know this pain, as I'm constantly fighting with time to accommodate both cooking and going to the gym... But I still prefer to exercise in the evening, I have more energy to do strength training after eating and don't like to do it before breakfast

I'm trying to become more of a morning person typically more productive during the day so that I don't have to spend so much time getting things done at night. It's nice because by noon I've exercised, had breakfast and gotten quite a bit of work out of the way. In an ideal world I would be able to exercise at night so that I could go to bed tired but my schedule doesn't allow that right now.

If you go to sleep at different times each day, it can be difficult to fall asleep earlier. Waking up and going to bed at the same time each day helps your body develop a routine. Even on weekends and days you would like to sleep in, it helps to maintain a consistent sleep schedule13. As you adjust to an earlier sleep schedule, it can help to make the change in smaller 15-minute increments. Many people find that napping too late in the day can interfere with nighttime sleep. If you are trying to go to bed earlier, you may want to avoid naps in the afternoon and evening.
Yup, definitely helps to establish a consistent routine, which is what I'm trying to do now.
