ZipAir - Flatbed to Japan
ZipAir - Flatbed to Japan
Recently i saw a posting online on this airline from Singapore to travel to Tokyo on ZipAir. Flatbed travel for 1.5k to 2k sgd. Sounds very reasonable, not sure if anyone tried it before

Wow! I had no idea this existed, seems like the Japanese equivalent of Scoot. Since it's Japanese, it's probably going to be one of the better budget airlines.YYCole wrote: ↑Sun, 23 Oct 2022 11:09 amYes it is! just started operation in SIngapore airport in Sep

Yeha same here. For the price of ca 1500 sgd round trip on flatbed, it is very value. Only Problem is, only 6 years old and above can sit on the flatbed. So if traveling in family, it will be a hard decision on who is going to sit behind.
And I agree with u on the japanese airlines. Japanese transportation system is like world best, runs like clockwork, i would imagine their budget airline (under JAL) is of similar quality too

Honestly though, for that price I would rather take scoot or another budget airline, pay $18 for extra legroom and call it a day. Hardly seems worth it to pay all that extra for a pretty short journey.YYCole wrote: ↑Mon, 24 Oct 2022 12:16 pmYeha same here. For the price of ca 1500 sgd round trip on flatbed, it is very value. Following this thread I've been thinking the same thing. What are we talking about? a 5 or 6 hour flight? I've spend 40 years flying 14 hr legs in economy on United. Seems like a gross waste of money to me.

Same here. When we fly to the US, unless we get an upgrade to business, we fly economy. I'd rather suffer the 20 hours than pay twice the price.sundaymorningstaple wrote: ↑Tue, 25 Oct 2022 11:16 pmFollowing this thread I've been thinking the same thing.
