I have secured a position in Singapore, and I am due to begin in the near future.
My friends here in Europe have organised a going away party of sorts for me in Amsterdam.
I am concerned that grassy substances permitted in Amsterdam yet banned in Singapore may turn up in my health check,
and cause problems with my visa application.
The way things stand, it would be difficult for me to back out of the trip.
I realise that many others must have also been in this situation in the past, as there are many ex-pats from more lenient countries who have been granted working permits etc. I am interested to hear their opinions and experiences.
I have searched all I can, and as far as I can tell, the blood test tests that one undergoes as part of the workig visa application in Singapore test for the presence of the HIV virus, and for your blood group...anything else?
Any advice in this matter would be appreciated,
MMM
