Cancelling P.R. when you have HDB property

Post by Titan70 » Mon, 26 Sep 2022 3:50 pm

I consider my situation unique and I don't know if anyone has had to do this and if they did, if they would still frequent this board.

I am a PR with an HDB and the HDB does not allow one to sell in the 1st FIVE Years of ownership (leaseship i guess is a better phrase) and since I have not hit the 5 year mark how exactly can I cancel PR, obtain my CPF funds and move on?

Is it even an option for me?

I am four years into the HDB plan.

HDB would acquire the flat at a compensation price determined by them.
