ICA: " you are not eligible to apply for PR"
This is something new!
Wanted to download Form 4A for PR application, logged in and saw only one line:
*You are not eligible to apply for PR (screenshot attached). I'm an EP holder for 8 years!
Anyone else here encountered the same? Any ideas why?

How would we know? We know absolutely NOTHING about you. Without knowing anything, we can tell you anything. I'm sure there is a valid reason, but again, without knowing anything about you or your history it would be impossible to even hazard a guess.

All I'm asking is whether anyone else had the same thing and if they have any idea why they had it.
I'm an EP holder, female, married, mid management level position, salary 10K, applied 3 years ago and a year ago, got rejected. My EP expires in a year. Nothing unusual in my profile

Hilarious! Apparently this is an ICA website bug
I switched from wifi to data and everything works. Issue resolved!
Re: ICA: " you are not eligible to apply for PR"
It looked like a bug/glitch. First thing was the smiling emoticon - you don't expect gov agency to express their happiness with your lack of eligibility. 2nd, asterisk without any reference.hitoiro_hitoiro wrote: ↑Sat, 24 Sep 2022 2:47 pmHilarious! If you got rejected a year ago, you might want to wait one more year before reapplying.hitoiro_hitoiro wrote: ↑Sat, 24 Sep 2022 2:25 pmAll I'm asking is whether anyone else had the same thing and if they have any idea why they had it.

I get this exact screen in my myICA regardless if I'm on wifi or mobile (I'm LTVP+ with PLOC). I had no choice but to have my wife sponsor me for my PR application through her myICA, but I'm not complaining.

It's pathetic. Time for your retirement.sundaymorningstaple wrote: ↑Sat, 24 Sep 2022 2:09 pmHow would we know? We know absolutely NOTHING about you. Re: ICA: " you are not eligible to apply for PR"
You are getting better, but still not a real asset for this country. You should have written "I'm pathetic". It would have been a lot more accurate.
I agree, it was actually time for my retirement in 2012 but my employer made it worth my while to continue till I was 75. Sadly family health issues forced me to reach an early settlement with the company and I retired at 71+, 3.5 years ago to become a fulltime caregiver again. I'll reach full retirement in December.
Seriously you need to grow up. You've been pissing at me ever since your 2nd post when you alluded to a 30 year old single former student she could apply under family ties and I called you out on it. A number of other have also called you out. Endangering everybody's health & wellbeing here on the little red dot doesn't endear you to anybody either. The ice is getting thin......

Re: ICA: " you are not eligible to apply for PR"
I see the same message just now. My last appeal of my 3rd attempt was rejected 6 months ago after it has taken 13 months of wait time, and I have recently changed job 3 months ago, so I'm not sure what would have caused this eligibility message to trigger.

Re: ICA: " you are not eligible to apply for PR"
You are competing for a slot in the country's demographic makeup that is the smallest recognized demographic. But it is also the most heavily oversubscribed demographic as well. And those other Indian professionals that are getting the PR's are those with high flying credentials, post-graduate studies from top tier institutions and salaries/positions commensurate with their salaries. You are competing with your own countrymen (no other ethnicities). Of the 30K PR (on rough average). Indians will be granted somewhere around 8% of the total (inclusive of family members).m.mohamedyusuff wrote: ↑Sat, 07 Jan 2023 10:31 pmI see the same message just now. Re: ICA: " you are not eligible to apply for PR"
It sounds as though ICA have rightly tightened the system to stop ICA from being flooded with PR applications that are an automatic fail (i.e. applying to soon after rejection and with no likely change in circumstances). IMO you need a fresh financial year between each application so your tax data is refreshed - this is critical for the economic analysis by ICA. There is NO value in reapplying so many times - the system is automated and while you may get a different agent looking at your data the criteria doesn't change.

You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!
