Dependent pass - Police clearance

Post by daniel.carrick » Wed, 21 Sep 2022 11:52 pm

Hi Guys,

I'm hoping for a little advice, my wife has been offered a job in Singapore and I would be coming along on a dependent pass.

However, this is where things get a little complicated, Originally from the UK, over the past 17 years I've lived and worked in Saudi, Italy, Kuwait, DRC, Pakistan, Iraq and Norway.

Can anyone advise what the situation is with Police clearance certificates for those entering on a DP? Firstly, are they required? and if so, would I need to provide one from each country or is it just a requirement to go back x amount of years?

The thought of trying to get background checks from some of these countries fills me with dread.

Any advice would be appreciated.
