Instead Softcup - new alternatives to pads and tampons

Post by que » Tue, 05 Apr 2005 10:04 pm

Hi!
Any one heard of instead softcups? I've read some fantastic reviews about this new alternatives to pads and tampons at www.softcup.com and www.drugstore.com.

It seems that it is not so common here in Singapore as those people that I spoke to have not heard about it. I am just curious how many people has actually used it before???

It's quite similar to the mooncup which is sold here.

interesting concepts - but looks really difficult to insert and remove. AT the the mooncup looks lke it couldn't spill whereas the softcup looks like you could spill it anytime

I visited the mooncup web site. I think the mooncup is very unhygienic because you have to wash it first in order to reuse. I think it will be a pretty bloody experience.

www.softcup.com says that the softcup is disposable. Hence it should be more hygienic. And the best part is can have clean sex during your period and your husband won't even feel it's there.

I think I will try it. I have found their Singapore distributor. http://www.biocue.com

I've just received my order of the softcups from www.biocue.com, they are very efficient. Just in time to use for this month. Will post my experience of using softcup later.
