hi, I got an email 2 weeks ago from ICA asking me for documents from my employer.
Please furnish the following document(s) via the e-PR system under ‘Enquire
Application Status’, within 2 weeks from the date of this letter. Please inform us at
ica_pr@ica.gov.sg if you are unable to produce the required document(s) within the
stipulated time. We only accept document(s) submitted through the e-PR system.
DOCUMENT(S) PERTAINING TO (name)
The car park adjacent to ICA Building is closed for construction works from 1 Jan
2020. As there are limited parking facilities around ICA Building, you are encouraged to
take public transport when you visit ICA.
im unable to supply them within 2 weeks so i asked an extension. i just want to ask if anyone have the same experience? right now my anxiety is on the roof. will the extension affect my results? im happy they emailed me but they have never indicate that im accepted tho. but im confused about the 2nd paragraph, why do they talk about ICA parking if im going to submit online? is it like hinting that i have a greater chance of PR approval? thx a lot

Re: request for PR documents
Just ask for an extension and explain why you need that extension (as long as the reason is valid, it should not be a problem and would not affect your chances.shimishimi wrote: ↑Mon, 18 Jul 2022 2:04 pmhi, I got an email 2 weeks ago from ICA asking me for documents from my employer.

They are not hinting anything to you. Asking for these documents just means they need those documents to continue processing your application (most of the time it's because the documents you submitted during your original application are probably outdated by now and they need your latest documents)/
The paragraph on ICA parking is a standard paragraph that is included in all correspondences from them recently. It has no meaning or relevance with regard to your application.
EDIT: just read your past replies. ICA knows you have changed your job and require documents from new employer to process your application. Simple as that.
