Amend SIngapore PR education section

Post by p1002002 » Tue, 12 Jul 2022 10:39 pm

So in my submitted PR application, I didn't include any post-uni professional qualification (CPA, CFA, stuffs like that) under the "Education" section. Instead I put in the "Membership section", so might be that the system doesn't recognise these qualifications correctly. There is no option to upload the certificate either.

Do you guys think it was worth to email ICA with an update and attached certificates? Not sure if I should use the ad-hoc upload button, which seems to be for any change in education and not existing. Also not sure how to do number 1 and 2 as shown the below:

"Update of Qualification (Applicant/Sponsor)
1) A letter of request. 2) A letter stating the information of your new qualification: - Country from which the qualification is obtained, Nature of Course: - Full time study/Part-time study/Distance Learning, Name of College (if any) and Course Duration (From: MM/YYYY To MM/YYYY). 3) New qualification certificates. 4) Transcripts (if any)"

The ad-hoc upload button is to be used if ICA has requested you to send them a certain document (by calling or emailing you).

You could attempt to email ICA with your documents. Not sure if that has any bearing. If ICA wanted proof, they'd ask. Definitely worth a try also.

It's been tried and not even a response for receipt of same via email. Of course that doesn't really mean anything as we don't know the inside workings of ICA. But I'd be surprised if they did as then there would be an avalanche of docs filling in their email inboxes. That's why they made a disappearing upload button. The know that certain demographics love to try to baffle them with BS instead of submitting what is asked for.
