Here is what I’ve gathered from briefly skimming the news… monkey pox is not that dangerous or deadly - you can be treated and fully recover. It’s not airborne at the present time and similar to Hepatitis B, it’s spread via blood & body fluids. If necessary, the small pox vaccine would be effective against monkey pox should it become necessary. Am I missing anything?

Seems like you covered all the bases. It is important to note however that while it’s not dangerous or deadly it’s incredibly uncomfortable once you’ve been infected. Somewhat similar to chickenpox.
