Ltvp: What happens if Sg spouse dies?

Post by Lovely85 » Sun, 03 Jul 2022 7:22 pm

Hi, my spouse is on Ltvp. We do not have kids. But I have 2 teens . He is their step-dad. Am wondering what happens if sponsor dies, will the Ltvp spouse have to go back to their country? What if there are step-children?

Thks

Searching around, it seems like the spouse on LTVP would have to leave the country after his pass expires.

How old are your kids? Are they adopted by your husband? Any reason why he cannot try applying for PR under your sponsorship?

Singapore will give no fcks. He will be out on the first place once his SVP expires. He better start trying to get PR or a job with an EP ASAP.
