Couldn't find a flight to Jogjakarta...help!

You will probably have to fly via Jakarta first then down to Yogjakarta.

Jakarta (CGK) to Yogyakarta (JOG) rtn to Jakarta.

You're right Sundaymorningstaple.. Looks like the nearest is Jakarta first ...seems like the other routes are closed.

I was looking precisely for the same 2 weeks ago and the only option for non-budget is go to Jakarta or Surubaya first. Then, if you are not traveling with lots of stuff, you may also consider taking train. I have never done it but from many reviews you may find, it seems a good standard and inexpensive option.
