SC application is this considered approved in principal?

Hi,
Does anyone have an experience that the status on the MyICA dashboard is approved but the inquiry status is still pending?

I wonder whether the SC application is considered approved in principal?

Yes. Everything in Singapore is "approved in principal" until it has been issued unless like a work pass where they tell you via letter that you can work with the letter of approval before the actual pass is issued. Wait until the official notification letter/email arrives. You still have to go through all the hoops first.

Hi menk, Finally when did your enquiry status change to approval after ICA homepage change? Did you get a IPA letter few days letter?

I think there are no more letters. Everything is notified on email/online.

But i am curious to know if it appears in the main page as approved and enquiry page shows pending, is it still considered approval in principal. Its been 2 days and status remains like this.

If it shows approved on the main page, it is considered Approved In Principle. Just wait for the status to change on the page when you click on your application
