Little India. Or anywhere else. Being veggie is pretty easy in Singapore.

U can find lots of Veggie Indian food in Singers! For regular, cheap North Idian food, my fav is Jaggi's on Race Course Road, next to Little India MRT. Closer to Farrer Park MRT, there is Raj ( again a strong fav of mine) for both North and south Indian....and Gangotri is also good.
Of course you have the Komala's chain at a lot of places across the island...
Another must try is Annalakshmi at the Excelsior Shopping Complex near City Hall MRT. Try their Sunday brunch or the Saturday dinner. Superb buffet! You can also visit Ganges which is just across the road from Annalakshmi. They also have a decent buffet.

There are several others like Mirchi at Esplanade, Vansh, Devi Fusion etc.... but also more expensive.

Phew....hope this helps! Have a great stay here ! :D

You can try Annalakshmi (http://www.annalakshmi.com.sg/index.htm). Heard from friends that the food is superb and you choose whatever you want from the menu and pay whatever price that you want! Judging from the website, the ambience's lovely and it's no wonder that people would pay well to eat there....

there's tons of good indian veggie restaurants in singapore. komala's is gd and there are a few brances in singapore (peninsula plaza, little india, east coast beach and not sure where else...). Little India actually has the most places -- "Ananda Bhavan" is all veggie indian fast-food and v. gd, as is "Gayatri" (which has non-veg also i think tho). Another place that i JUST tried and has just opened is bombay cafe (http://www.bombaycafe.com.sg). Also very nice -- it's on tanjong katong rd.

If you want just vegetarian food in general, there are also tons of gd chinese restaurants. one is "ling zhi" -- which is at orchard tower (orchard rd). another really gd one is "original sin" which is in holland v -- it has mediterranean food and it's all veggie. also, many food courts will have a vegetarian stall that u can check out.

hope this helps! :)

I read in one of the other posts that there is home delivery available for chinese food. Is there someting similar for indian food ?

I will be on my own here and dont want to cook much, is there some company/individual who can deliver food on weekdays ?

If so, what will the cost be like ?

Thanks
