EP is cancelled and awaiting EP approval from next employer

Hello Friends,

My EP from previous organisation is cancelled and my EP approval from new organisation is awaiting approval from MOM. Meanwhile I am on STVP which is going to expire in few days. Can the new employer request for STVP extension till the time EP is approved? Please help me with my query

Hi RLG
You can try to schedule an advisory session with MOM online. Not sure if the new employer can do anything with STVP extension. MOM may advise you on a path forward provided you clearly and genuinely communicate your case.

Hopefully, your EP application does come through during that time! (P.S had a friend of mine who experienced a similar situation during the peak of covid last year, seeking advice from MOM may still be worthwhile even now)

Yes, you can. Alternatively can try to see if an Advisory option exists under the "Make/Change/Cancel Appointment" in the MOM website
