PR chances?

Post by blacksesame » Sat, 07 May 2022 1:41 pm

hi i applied for PR as a student pass holder in end 2019 and recently received my rejection letter. i’m wondering if i should applying again immediately or hold off until after getting my A levels result, and will really appreciate your input on my success rate. my profile is as follows
race : vietnamese
background: attended primary, sec school and jc in relatively top local schools (completed psle and Os, in my A level year rn)
parents: vietnamese ( they’re living in vietnam) and hold civil servants jobs

i’m not quite sure why my application was rejected, perhaps due to the fact that i cannot support myself? but i’ve also known friends who were on student pass, getting pr in less than a year upon application.

thanks in advance for your replies!

Likely because you still can't support yourself, and it's not a family application with the backup of parents. Usually the job and industry you work in will also be a consideration..
