Hello community !
I am renewing my PR in a few months. I have been a SG Pr since 2007.
My issue is that because of COVID I have been away from SG for almost 3 years (I work in hospitality). Still paying partially tax and CPF in SG in the meantime .
I am also a director in a local SG company .
I am coming to Singapore next month to process the renewal of My REP . Do you think I can do it as per normal (online) or if I d better use a lawyer or a consultant to support my case?

So do I still need...

I'm not applying REP anytime soon.

What I mean is do I still need to transfer the invalid/expired REP to new passport online? I couldn't understand...

Don't apply around holiday times, the usual 3-4 weeks can extend to several months. And tax residency makes no difference.
