Lawrence Wong to be PM
I would have personally preferred OYK, but not surprised that they went with Lawrence, he’s incredibly risk averse due to his position as finance minister. What do you all think?

Personally, having lived here under ALL of Singapore's PMs, I'm inclined to think that, again this will be a seat-warmer PM until the next Lee (Li Hongyi 1st son of 2nd wife) is finally convinced & groomed to take over. In that respect Lawrence Wong makes a good choice. He is, as noted, risk averse, tractable and I've not noticed any real waves he's made thus far. Good choice for seat-warmer.

Don’t think the public would stand for that… I think even the Lee family know their limits.sundaymorningstaple wrote: ↑Sun, 24 Apr 2022 11:42 amPersonally, having lived here under ALL of Singapore's PMs, I'm inclined to think that, again this will be a seat-warmer PM until the next Lee (Li Hongyi 1st son of 2nd wife) is finally convinced & groomed to take over.
