havent heard of any malaysian chinese getting approved after only 6 months of stay.

This guy applied after 1 month of stay and was approved 7 months later.

i do heard before malaysia chinese Female single got PR with less then 1 yr stay
I also know a friend - Malaysia Chinese Male apply together with whole family (Malaysia Chinese wife + 2 son + 1 dau - all stay in Singapore), stay in Singapore >10 yrs, didn't get PR

Hi all. I received notification through email on the approval of my PR application in the wee hours of 02 June 2023.
Nationality: Malaysian Chinese
Gender: Male
Age: 27
Marital status: Single
Salary: 52k/year
Industry: Production Engineer in Italian MNC (Jurong Island)
Been working in SG since Nov 2019
Education: Degree from malaysian private university
Work Pass: EP
Currently in my 2nd job in SG. My first job after graduation was also SG-based.
Applied on 24th May 2022. Approval date was 30th May 2023 (as indicated in the PR Application Outcome Letter). Only knew about the approval status on 02 June 2023.

There is no enquiry from ICA as such. However, some communication happened during last 15 months with ICA due to salary revision, promotion etc. Such communication was initiated from my side not from ICA.

A couple of questions for the gurus pls
1. Does the ICA or other agencies reach out to the employer directly asking for their sponsorship for PR application after the application has been submitted?
2. Can we read anything into it if the do?

1. No
For the PTS Scheme, They only ask a declaration in the PR application appendix from the employer to check and confirm if the applicant is employed by the company. But filling that up is clearly not considered as sponsorship.
It used to clearly say
Completion of this form is to serve as confirmation that the information provided is accurate and valid and it does not imply Company's Sponsorship.

It might be a employment verification and not sponsorship. They are 2 different things.
