How old are your kids? Did you include them in the application
How old are you?
Is your spouse working too?

All these would matter.

I have been married for 9 year
my Kids are 4 and 8 years old
I am 43
and my wife works in my company only on LOC

Did you include the entire family with kids in the application?

You will get it this time or if you reapply after 1-2 years you will get it.

One of the +ves would be the employment of Singaporeans by the firm

But question is when I had applied for PR in June 2021 that time I did not have 6 Singaporean employees
I started hiring people December 2021 onwards.

Will ICA automatically see this when they look in my company details ?

Everything is online and well connected in SG. MOM and ICA are even well connected. So, ICA will automatically know. But if you want to explicitly let them know, please update them

The only things that will pertain to the application are those things that happened before the submission of the Application. Anything happening after will require a new application to be submitted, but you will have to wait until you get the outcome of the current submission unless you can get them to cancel the application (don't know if it can be done or not but it may be worth a try) if it will keep you from having to wait a theoretical 2 more years to reapply. (They will obviously sit on a new application that shows a recent hiring of local staff and will wait a while to act just to ensure that the staff remains employed at least till the next rejection or approval. I know that is what I would do, considering the knowledge I've gained from this board about thought processes of applicants. ICA officers see a whole lot more than we do.

I'm not doing a degree yet...actually I'm doing IGCSEs for a year then going on to do diploma but by that time, I will turn 21 and would have to return back already... So should I try appealing or wait and for 6 months ?

Appealing or applying in 6 months without any significant change from your last application will result in the same outcome. I would recommend to complete your education, work for 1 year and then apply, Your chances will be better.

I read that appealing would need to be based on my circumstance at that point in time when I applied so even if my pay increases by 500 this year, it won’t be considered a change or even significant by that matter right? Does going to MP help? (Didn’t participate in volunteer sessions though)

Donations, volunteering, letters from MP/company/etc have ZERO impact for PR applications/appeals.

Appeals also don’t work at all. $500 pay raise is not significant.

Just follow what the senior members suggest. Apply after you graduate, get a job, and work for a year. Students getting PR is relatively low chance even though it is an option during application.

I would like to share my profile which my PR application got rejected recently.

Application submitted on July 2022.
Nationality: Vietnamese
Race: Others obviously.
Age: 34 at that time.
Marital status: Married, wife stays home no working.
Kid: a 6 year old daughter going to local kindergarten at the time of application. Now she is going to a local primary school.
Salary: 150k
Job: Software engineer in a very well known local startup.
Experience: 11 years
Education: Master degree
Stay in Singapore: since 2016
Visa: always have been EP

Get the rejected result after sharp 6 months (Jan 2023 just now).

Total 3 attempts of PR application:
1/ Apr 2018, got rejected in Oct 2018
2/ Oct 2019, got rejected in Apr 2020
3/ Waited for 2 years and applied again July 2022, got rejected in Jan 2023.
Changes since the previous time:
- Changed job from an MNC to a very well known local startup
- Salary increased 40%
- Got a Master degree

The reason of rejection might be race quota obviously.

Thanks for sharing, and yes, reason for rejection is likely due to race, though we can't be sure.
