She was born here last Oct.
Oct 2021 or Oct 2022?
You are not a PR. Only your PR husband can apply LTVP for your child under “An unmarried child (aged under 21) who is either born within the context of a legal marriage to, or has been legally adopted by, a Singapore citizen or PR can apply for a Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) under the sponsorship of the Singapore citizen or PR parent.”
LTVP chance for the kid seems okay.
After 2 years of marriage you can ask your husband to sponsor PR for you and the child.

Hi, just want to ask the chances of my baby to get her LTVP approve. She was born here last Oct. And our profile below.
Husband
Race: Malaysian Chinese
Status: PR for 2yrs currently applying for citizenship
Monthly Salary: $5800
Work: Senior Engineer
Length of Stay in SG: 2yrs
Me
Race: Filipino
Status: Spass
Monthly Salary: $3800
Work: Civil Service
Length of Stay in SG: 8yrs
Baby
Race: Malaysian Chinese
We are married for 7mos now and I really want our family to be together here. Do you think what is my baby's chance to get approve.
TIA!
Hope your baby is doing well (2 months old now?). I also think child's LTVP should be OK. Is the child also on your husband's SC application?
If husband and child are approved for SC, you may be able to apply for PR before two years of marriage. But if no rush, just wait two years; there probably won't be that big of a difference in timeline anyways.

Hi Everyone,
I plan to apply when I reach 6 months of employment. I know some things are in my favour as a Malaysian, but don't know if it's too soon.
Nationality: Malaysian
Age: 29
Race: Indian
Gender: Male
Marital status: Married (wife is also Malaysian Indian working abroad by will relocate if get PR)
Applied for: Me + wife
Education: BEng
Wife's Education: MBBS
Length of stay in SG: 0.5 years
Pass type: EP
Occupation: IT data analyst
Salary: ~ S$130k;
Work experience: 6 years
SG Tax Assessment: None yet
Anyone can evaluate?
Hi mate - replying as my profile is similar to yours (albeit with some difference in circumstances. I did a write up on my experience which you can prob find under my post history which you may find helpful). I imagine you have many of the same questions I did back then considering the lack of data/anecdotal points re. Malaysian Indian applications. My personal take would be that it's too soon to apply in your case, and it may be best to wait at least after 1 EP renewal, 2/3 tax windows to maximize your chances. It's about ticking the boxes at the right time as much as it is about ticking the right boxes.

Hi Everyone,
I've been frequenting this forum ever since I started applying for PR few years back. (Already got 2 rejections)
I had changes in my circumstances so I decided to apply again.
I just want to know how my chances would be in the eyes of the people here in the forum.
Me
Race: Filipino
Status: LTVP
Monthly Salary: $3000
Work: Marketing
Length of Stay in SG: 4yrs
My Wife:
Race: Chinese
Status: SC
Monthly Salary: $2500
Work: Business Dev
My wife is currently pregnant with a baby boy. Due to deliver next year.
Also we have bought a resale flat already. I don't know if that counts.
Thanks in advance.

Not sure if my hubby included her in the application but i think should be.
Thank you.

After baby is born, chance will be very high. But sponsor salary may be slightly in the border

As this site was very helpful during application process, I thought I’d share my profile to add a data point.
Main applicant:
Age: 35
Gender: Male
Race: White
Nationality: USA
Education: Doctorate (NUS)
Visa type: EP (3rd one), SP prior
Employer: Public Healthcare Institution
Length of stay: 13 years.
Salary: $7k (at time of application)
Housing: Rented HDB
Spouse:
Age: 43
Race: Chinese
Nationality: ROC (Taiwan)
Education: University (TW)
Visa type: DP
Employment: previously in manufacturing sector in TW, cannot work now as on DP
Length of stay: 6 months
Children:
1.
Age: 5
Gender: Female
Race: Eurasian
Nationality: USA
Education: Local preschool
Length of stay: 6 months
2.
Age: 3
Gender: Female
Race: Eurasian
Nationality: USA
Education: Local preschool
Length of stay: 6 months
Applied in March 2022, just got IPA. Very pleased to have gotten through on my first application, based on some of the profiles here, I didn’t think my chances were good. But don’t apply no chance to get, right?
It’s quite a relief as it means I can really make plans to settle down for good now.

Congrats. I am also surprised you got through, all things considered. I guess your education (here), length of stay, and possibly sector all helped.
If desired, you can register the older child for the local primary school in the calendar year that she turns six years old (for entry the following January).
Anyways, congrats again; it is a good outcome for those trying their luck!

Probably the deal sealer was the NUS PhD.
