The missing button likely only signifies that the decision is imminent likely in the next 1-2 weeks. Let’s not get hopeless yet.
Btw, my button also disappeared earlier this week. It’s been 10 months for me now since submission. Keeping fingers crossed.
Very good chance you get it bro…
What I heard is that the chance of approval is much higher if it takes more than 6months.. saying that I know someone who got it exactly 3 months from date of submission

No of months of processing has no impact on the outcome result.

Yeah, exactly.
I know of ppl whom I'd consider having a stronger PR profile than mine, but getting rejected after 12 months. We can only know when we see the final outcome.

And I will lay you odds that the 3 months from submission was for a degreed Malaysian Chinese (with probably a Sg Advanced degree as well).

The 1st time I applied for PR was exactly 10 years ago and I was rejected after 9 months and they asked me for my family details. I remember they rejected people en mass that month as there were lots of reports on this forum of rejection. It was as if someone just did
Update Tbl_PR_Status Set PR_Status = "Rejected"
Where PR_Status = "Pending"

You are going to hate this answer. His PR wasn't approved. However, he made the most of his time here by saving up a lot.

There has not been any substantial change in my situation from the last application that was rejected in April 2021..
Therefore I have reached a conclusion that a rejection is imminent taking into account that 5 months is not long enough for a positive decision.
Not disappointed this time, I really accepted that the fact being Indian is strike 1, any more negatives and you are out! Can’t change that fact..

Its absolutely Brootal that someone with a million+ net worth and long tenure has been rejected multiple times… this shows that what will happen to normies like us who are here for very long tenure and make 6 figures a year.. now 7 figures is the new 6 figures and maybe will influence the application
