LTVP from ICA for job seeking

Hey everyone,
I've been planning to apply for LTVP for Mother of a Child studying in SG with Student Pass (from ICA). Does it make me not eligible (for the company) for applying for Work Passes (Spass, EP) on the first year while I'm holding this type of LTVP?
