Business partner needed in Singapore

Post by Guest » Sun, 03 Apr 2005 6:53 pm

Hello everyone in Singapore,

I'm looking for some Singaporean citizen/PR who can help me establish a Singapore LTD company and being director of my company along with me. As as per Singapore law at least one director of a Singapore company should be Singapore resident citizen or PR.

I'm into ecommerce (virtual/online payment systems) business and want to deal my wholesale international customers from Singapore.

If you are interested let me know and it doesn't matter whether you have experience or not, either male or female no problem. Of course, another advantage is you don't need so spend any finances I will bear all expenses myself.

I will be visiting Singapore this month and want to finalize before I arrive there.

Feel free to contact me via email with your intro.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but i was under the impression that you do not need a Singapore citizen or P.R to register your business in Singapore. What you need is an entrepass and an EP, and you could register the business naming yourself as the director and run the business from Singapore? No?
We also run an online business (B2C), like to return to Singapore, but will try the P.R route first since I am a Singaporean and see how it goes....
The website given to me by Contact Singapore in London is www.acra.gov.sg for registration of business.
I would suggest double checking with them.

The second guy posting is right.
But, there are other ways you can operate a Ltd company in Singapore as well. With ecommerce, I think you have a lot of other options. Singapore environment is friendly to starting business. But, it is VERY Unfriendly when u want to quit.Check all your options.
