Did you apply PR for your daughter back in 2007 when you got your PR? How come she only got PR in 2020?

I am Malaysian Chinese, F, SPR since 2012, applied SC Jan 2020 and yet to receive any confirmation.
I do not know if that means I will need to wait persistently.
My income are not great compare to Indian national who posted with 150K. I am barely half of it.
I do not know my chances of getting it because it is really affecting my promotion in the office.

If you are still of childbearing age and have a degree it will probably happen but you will need to be patient. Marry a local Chinese and it's a shoe-in.

Actually my daughter moved to Singapore only in 2018 (as I was doing extensive business travel for almost 10 years) hence she got her PR in 2020.
We are still awaiting a positive result, keeping fingers crossed!!

You may not get it. Singapore prefers nuclear families. It's a form of bias that a certain politician espoused.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.

That was my first thought as well. Having said that, it is quite surprising to see her daughter's PR approved and obviously not as a family. As recently as 2020.

Hello there, is that an issue? The entire process is so discrete and we just have to keep guessing & hope for the best! I'm doing that too.. Thanks anyways for your feedback & support, cheers ArK05

Not an issue. Good for her. Normally the ICA seems to reject applications which have only part of the family. The ICA works in mysterious ways

50-50 chance. Kids in local school?
Usually chance is better after 1 REP renewal.
