Dear all,
May I ask your advice on the chance of my PR Application?
Age: 40
Basic Monthly Salary: SGD20,000
Pass: PEP
Race: Chinese
Length of working and living in Singapore: 9 months
Job: Management in world famous consumer goods company
My Wife
Age: 40
Basic Monthly Salary: SGD12,000
Pass: PEP
Race: Chinese
Length of working and living in Singapore: 8 months
Job: Management in world famous consumer goods company
Others: One kids
Some friends said that our chance is high and we can apply now. What do you think?

Your time in SG is too short, best to apply after you have 2 years of income tax assessment. Age might also be against you.
But if you want to spend the $100 application fee, no one is stopping you. Just treat it as a donation.

Chinese born in? If Malaysian Chinese and apply with kid actually have a chance I think.

Salary is a plus but you’ve been here for too short period of time to have a really good chance. Wait till it’s been two or three years if you can afford it.

Curious..... Did you get your PEP preapproved before coming to Singapore or did you apply for it recently after getting an EP?
If you applied for it after getting your EP, may I ask why so soon? Depending on your answer will make my answer different so I await your response.
