Re: Dyson vacuum
I do use Shopee, lazada not so much. I know not all the products are faulty/poorly made, but generally its not a chance I’d like to take.
Re: Dyson vacuum
Sorry if my previous post was not clear... I have 2 vacuum cleaners for Xiaomi:Lisafuller wrote: ↑Thu, 24 Feb 2022 12:30 amWait a sec, I just did a google search and it looks like its the round robotic one. Did you type the wrong model or do you actually use the robotic one? If the latter, how good of a job does it do? I’ve been considering getting a robo vac but haven’t heard any personal opinions, just general reviews online.nelyanne wrote: ↑Wed, 23 Feb 2022 10:29 amRegarding durability, I can't tell much as I bought it recently. G10 is a new model (from 2021 I think) so you won't find many data points online.abbby wrote: ↑Mon, 21 Feb 2022 8:35 amnelyanne
Thats what I had heard about Dyson on its durability my friend's set broke down after a very short while..
For Xiaomi, my neighbour has a set and she says its good but my concern is I had a Xiaomi thermometer before and it broke down really fast.
How's your durability and usage time per charge? Is it heavy?
But I've been using Xiaomi Roborock S55 intensively for almost 3 years (as my only vacuum cleaner), never had any issues. If you need to replace a small part, like the filter, it is cheap and easy to get (go to Xiaomi store or order from Shopee).
Usage time per charge is roughly as advertised.
The weight when using the standard brush is 2.8kg (the total weight you find online will be ~4kg, but that's the weight of all components combined together).
I have the robo kind (Roborock S5) since March 2019 and I am happy about the durability.
I bought the stick kind (G10) just a few weeks ago. I like the functionality (and the fact that it's only 2.8kg) but can't tell how durable it is.

Re: Dyson vacuum
Ahh, good to know. I’m not interested in getting a Xiaomi stick (my dyson is a stick). I am considering the robo vac though. How good of a job does it do?
Re: Dyson vacuum
Have a Dyson V11. It’s perfectly good - but we’ve got our eyes on a xiaomi robo vacuum just because why not?
What’s the electronic mop? That sounds very useful.

Re: Dyson vacuum
My electronic mop is similar to this (the video review is in English). There’s a water tank so you don’t need to repeatedly dunk the mop into a water bucket and you don’t need to exert so much force to mop the floor as the motorised pads will do the work.
I like the self-cleaning bucket too, just put the mop on the bucket, push the mop backwards and the pads clean & dry themselves. It’s really less taxing than a traditional mop.

Me too, one of these days I’m just going to pull the trigger. Will save me a ton of effort and pay for itself in a month.
