Change of Career during SC Application

Post by LauTony » Thu, 17 Feb 2022 7:38 pm

Hi, does anyone came across changing career while having sc application in progress?

What other steps should I do apart from updating the letter of employment through ICA portal.

Thank you.

You have effectively answered your own question. Update ICA with letter of employment and the first payslip with the new company.

First full month's payslip. (to verify basic salary)

Is it recommended to upload payslips for salary increments as well? (with no job change)

You’d think at this point you should just create a FAQ and sticky it. I’ve seen this question way too many times

Substantial pay increment (>15%)? Sure. 5%? Don’t bother.

Hi. Would like I tag on this thread to also ask whether changing job/company (assuming higher basic salary at the new job) after SGC application is submitted negatively affect approval probability? Thanks

If a lateral move for a better job/company or for more salary wouldn't impact it at all.

Either significantly higher salary of significantly better position (official promotion).
