Does anyone know where they have a large selection of bulk package, individually wrapped snack items in Singapore?
These are easier to find around Halloween time, but not so much during ordinary times.
I’ve seen these at Valu$ sometimes, but it’s a limited selection and hit or miss whether they have stock.
Appreciate any leads.

You can find them at SKP shops, mostly located at malls and HDB heartlands, also Daiso. Or online from aliexpress.com shipping may take up to 1 month. I get mine from Daiso most of the time.

Thought SKP only sold containers and other packing materials?

You can actually find them at mainstream supermarkets. I go to the Fairprice Finest at Bukit Timah Plaza, and they have a pretty big selection of individually packaged snacks, and all really cheap (under $3).

We were hoping there was a place that specialized in this kind of thing, but we managed to find enough at the supermarket. Will check out Daiso next time. Thanks for the responses!

Don't know exactly what you're looking for but restaurant supply companies often have bulk packages of items.

Isn’t there a membership involved? Similar to Costco.

Pretty sure Mal is referring to those big packs of individually wrapped snacks- 20-30 packs per bag. Not nearly large enough in quantity to be supplied commercially.

I’ve been to the Warehouse Club a few times during promo periods - when no membership was required… about the only thing I found of interest there was a limited selection of Kirkland brand stuff, direct from Costco in the US. However, they mark it up quite steeply. Most of what remains in the store is stuff you already find at NTUC and at no better price. To be honest, NTUC has no clue of what it means to sell in bulk — I’ve found bulk items they sell at a higher price than buying individually on a per piece basis… they just can’t shake off their trader mentality. It is both to their detriment and to the detriment of consumers.

Yep, we managed to make it work with some stuff we found at Cold Storage. Basically small individually wrapped snacks/treats that my daughter needed for school - for distribution to her classmates.

Really good point. I’ve never been to warehouse club, but this is enough to keep me away.

Ahh, the most common reason for buying them. I remember when my daughter would buy them to take to class in primary school, crazy that that was over 10 years ago.

When you're buying goods by weight in NTUC....
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or
http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

In standard terms, if it states 08062021 does it mean 8 June 2021 or 6 August 2021?

If its an American product, its the 6th of August, otherwise it should be the 8th of June.
