You're posting highly biased articles from two shit "news" sources.
The facts are these: When Covid first appeared on the scene, scientists knew very little about it, except that it was transmissible and could be deadly. Health care workers implemented known and tested processes to cope with the pandemic, BASED UPON THE BEST KNOWLEDGE THEY HAD AT THE TIME.
Every decisions regarding the pandemic has had to be made on the basis of the best available and INCOMPLETE information. You are a health care official, charged with making decisions based upon that incomplete information. What do you do? You err on the side of caution, as you should.
As we get more information, responses to the pandemic have been modified. Yet, these shit "news" outlets would have you believe that there is some kind of conspiracy, and that these Johns Hopkins guys have rolled back the sheet hiding this massive conspiracy. It's bullshit, and it's exactly one study, by one professor... and these two worthless "news" sources think that trumps the hundreds, if not thousands, of studies, as well as massive empirical evidence that suggest lockdowns made a big difference.
If you're getting your information from Fox, you're more poorly informed that not watching any news channel at all.
