Hi everyone. My bf and I are moving to SG for work in a couple months. We have a lovely dog coming with us. We are trying to find a dog friendly area not too far from Great World City, anyone can help? Ideally we would like to live close along the coast line. But anywhere close to that area that you recommend is also more than welcome.
And we would also like to know if SG is overall a dog friendly country. Where can we go with doggie and what kind of activities can we do with the dog.
Shout out to all the dog lovers out there in SG, hopefully can see you guys there soon! Thanks for the help!!
Here’s our lovely doggo named Pickle

Feel like I just responded to a post like this a day or two ago. Looked but can’t find the original post or my response. I’d suggest you look into
condos in the Tanglin area, try those in the Somerville Estate. Plenty of expats, dogs, greenery, and pretty close to GWC.

Lisa, are you referring to the thread where we were discussing the offshore islands like St. Johns, etc.?
Before they go too far, I would beg to ask if both have positions already confirmed here in Singapore as it appears that they are unmarried and that means no dependents pass for the stay at home partner.

No, just yesterday I’m pretty sure there was someone asking the exact same question. Budget was around. 5.5-6K if I remember correctly, but this info has been left out in this post.

Hi Lisa thank you for the response. That’s probably from my bf. He said he posted sth in the
property section. We will definitely look it up those places you suggested, thank you!

Sentosa is the best place to have a dog IMO.

Have to agree with you on that...dogs are so welcomed at restaurants

One dog friendly place would be Botanic Gardens! I bring my dog there sometimes! There’re nice dog cafes around too serving food for dogs and humans.
Otherwise I would recommend living close to East Coast Park area. The park has a mini dog park, and is a good place to exercise and cycle about

I’d argue Holland is also pretty welcoming of dogs.

Another place is the west coast, those
condos near the west coast park is great and the park is less crowded than east coast park.
