Is that when the once or twice removed comes into play? I've never understood it either.

I've always used 2nd cousins but I'm pretty sure that is wrong and there should be a x removed in there somewhere. I have "cousins" who are the great-great grandchildren of my aunt, I've got no idea what number that should be

I didn’t know about this until brother’s kids had kids before I did… I discovered they are first cousins once removed… but wait, does that make me their uncle once removed, or am I their grand uncle?

I have 5 step-siblings. What are their kids? What if the step-siblings were half-siblings?
My head is spinning. When does this even end?

Yeah I think you have a point TheRat. There is definite concern that Singaporeaness is preserved and the primary school system is where it starts.
