Chance is going to be low because of the Ethnicity.
SRS and Cash Balance in savings account MAY not add value to the PR application.

Looking at your profile, you can keep increasing your salary. Maybe if your wife enters the workforce as well. But it's still going to be very difficult and more likely impossible to crack. Better to have a plan B or plan C ready while you are still under 40.

PS. Out of curiosity, why do you write your "nationality" as Indian Muslim? Muslim isn't a nationality.

Would be an advantage if your kid was granted SC or PR as he would serve NS, a big contribution to SG.

My thoughts exactly, seems to confuse the application. Muslim would refer to being of the Islamic faith.

Has your wife been in SG for the same 4 years? I’m assuming you’re applying as a family.

Haven’t been in SG for very long, good that you’re applying as a family though, helps.

In that case, if rejected you can just apply in a few years when you’ve been here for longer, no need to worry too much.

If your wife is trying to set up a business, in my opinion it would do your chances a world of good if you hire some locals.

Hi, just want to ask for your view on this matter. Initially I applied PR and didnt apply under my husband (Malaysian PR). Now my husband told me that I should try again after 2yrs of our marriage and after I give birth but should be under his sponsorship. Do you think does it have a chance because its heartbreaking to receive a rejection letter again. Thats why I dont want try. Below are our details:

Husband
Status: Malaysian PR
Race: Chinese
Job: Senior Elec. Engr
Salary: $66k per annum
Length of years in SG: 3yrs
Age: 34

Wife
Status: SPass
Race: Filipino
Job: Engr
Salary: $48k per annum
Length of years in SG: 8yrs
Age: 32

We are newly wed and expecting a baby. My worry is for our baby I want him to stay with us as a family. Do you think me and our baby will have a chance?

Thank you.

He can try under his sponsorship. But chances wise, it may be 50-50.
