Advice on obtaining drivers license privately

Post by Lisafuller » Fri, 24 Dec 2021 5:55 am

My daughter recently turned 18 and is now set on getting her drivers license. We decided to have her take the private route to save time, but unfortunately navigating through all the different processes has caused quite a bit of confusion. She registered with SSDC in woodlands as a private candidate and has already booked her BTT and taken her eye test, but now the question is whether or not the private instructor we hire can be affiliated with BBDC rather than SSDC? We had originally wanted to register with BBDC, but the earliest appointment was in mid-Jan (crazy!) while SSDC had a slot for the next day (a miracle, suspect someone cancelled last minute). Appreciate any help.

I would look at the comfort centres. BBDC is always booked out.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

You’re completely right about BBDC, it’s booked out all the way through late Jan at this point. What I was surprised by, though, is that CDC is even more booked, all the way till late Feb! SSDC was the only one with slots, so it’s looking as though she may have to make all future appointments there, even if it’s a distance from home.
