Thinking about trying it out after my boxing membership ends in a week, but not sure about the intensity or environment. Anybody been before?

It’s a HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workout class. Famous for its red room classes and proven results, but not sure if it’s right for me.

I think I will! Planning on signing up for the one week class package to get a feel of the experience.

Just as an update, I attended my first red room class a little over 2 weeks ago and since then have gone for 4 more classes. Must say that it is one of the most intensive fitness classes I’ve ever attended. You start out either on the “floor” doing strength training, or on the treadmills doing cardio. Then you swop spots every few minutes. The exercise itself is intense and tough, definitely not for the faint hearted. Atmosphere is pretty great though, the lights are all red like the name suggests, and the music is loud so you really feel like you’re somewhere else, helps to take away a bit of the sting of the workout.

Won’t share pictures (I’m far too body-conscious for that) but I have been monitoring my weight and will share updates.
