Extend stay within the allowed 90 days - Do I need to notify anyone?

Post by admend » Thu, 16 Dec 2021 12:20 pm

Hello,

I was issued a 90 days visit pass. My original flight back to Europe was 30 days from my date of arrival. Is it legal to change my flight and stay until the end of my visit pass (no more)? Do I need to inform ICA that I'm staying 90 days instead of 30? I tried to call them but I couldn't talk to an actual officer. Thank you very much for your answers!

If your pass allows you to stay for 90 days, then you are legally allowed to do so, and do not need to inform anyone. If you were planning on leaving after the 90 days, however, then you would need to look into contacting the ICA and applying for an extension.
