Home-based business as an EP holder

Post by whitefeather » Thu, 02 Dec 2021 10:28 pm

Hello!

I am an EP holder working for an MNC.

I am interested in starting a micro F&B business out of my kitchen.

It seems like I don't need special permits or registrations for this purpose (see below), but it's unclear if the same applies for EP holders.

Would anyone know if this is legal?

Thank you!!

EP holders are not allowed to operate any other business other than the company sponsoring the EP. You have to pass that hurdle before even thinking about anything else. Good way to get your EP cancelled and "Adiós" and "Vaya con Dios".

Besides what SMS said about EP's (you can't do this), there are many other permits you would need to get for an F&B business IF you were legally qualified to create and run it.
