Singapore Citizenship Application Rejected

Hi All,

Family of 4 PR since last 10+ years, Kids (Girls) in local schools/Polly, have own apartment, do participated in volunteering opportunities. Our Citizenship application rejected twice. Is there any advice? It looks like either not having male kids, not from a favorite race etc. It's really frustrating because one of the kid need to apply her own PR/VISA in some years and also uncertain future here on PR.

Unfortunately, it's not likely to happen with a good dollop of luck. Lack of male kids notwithstanding (female also marry and make good future baby ovens so all is not lost), is likely not to be the problem. As I see it, you age might be the issue. You are already over 50 so they might be hesitant.

Definitely not age. The papers we occasionally link show a definite drop off for PR approval post 45 but not much effect for SC approvals wrt age .

I applied on June 2020. total waiting time 1year and 5months.

Haha, yeah. As i read through many old posts, some people dont want to admit their real reason for getting sgc or pr. They want to say they got it on their own merit.
