Apply for Citizenship after 1 year as PR

Post by unicorn1991 » Sun, 31 Oct 2021 12:03 am

Hi,

I'd like to check for criteria for applying for Citizenship.

4. Are a PR studying in Singapore; and have been residing in Singapore for more than 3 years (of which, at least one year as a PR); and have passed at least one national exam (i.e. PSLE, GCE ‘N’/‘O’/‘A’ levels), or are in the Integrated Programme (IP).

What do they mean by "studying in Singapore" ? Can we count online courses? Have anyone apply via this route before?

Studying in Singapore means exactly what it says. Studying in an Institute of learning in Singapore. It can be a twinned program with a foreign university, but it is still taking place in an institute of learning IN Singapore.
